Michael Gralnick, Chief Executive Officer
Michael is recognized in the investment community as the author of the Keiretsu Forum’s Due Diligence Process Handbook, which provides insights into both how he thinks about actions required to reduce risk and his commitment to protecting investors. It can be accessed in PDF or as an iBook here.
Though the bulk of his business career has focused on management, consulting, advising, and investing in early and growth stage businesses where teams are being assembled and business cultures formed, his real estate experience includes owning up to 34 rental units concurrently. He has dealt with purchases through all of traditional sales channels, short-sale negotiations, and auction purchases and dealt with renovations of multiple properties.
Michael’s primary responsibilities include:
- Scaling the capital raising process to provide Resilient Phoenix Homes the opportunity to acquire as many properties as possible.
- Overseeing the team required to reposition any properties resold in the near term for a profit rather than being held for the long term for appreciation and rental income.
- Expanding the management team to enable more properties to be evaluated and acquired faster.
- Overseeing the property management team.
- Overseeing investor relations.
- Completing negotiations and structuring for bulk purchases of REOs from financial institutions.
Manny Fernandez, Chief Investment Officer
Manny Fernandez is recognized in the investment community for founding SF Angels, a San Francisco Bay Area angel investment group.
Prior to his recent years as an active startup investor and influencer, the vast majority of his business and professional career and experience were centered on real estate, with a focus on the off-market and pre-market acquisition of single family residence rental properties.
He is recognized in California real estate and California politics for his impact on revitalizing the Oak Park neighborhood of Sacramento. This involved pre-market and off- market purchases. He real estate experience is, therefore, exactly on point to implementing the investment strategy for scaling Resilient Phoenix Homes.
Manny’s primary responsibilities include:
- Training and developing people calling potential pre-foreclosure sellers.
- Seeking out potential real estate investment opportunities.
- Negotiating acquisitions with sellers.
- Assessing and recommending which investments to make.
- Training additional executives to complete the same assessments.
- Initiating negotiating for bulk purchases of REOs from financial institutions.

Rachna Singh, Chief Financial Officer
Rachna Singh has the broad and diversified operational and finance management experience one would expect from a CFO. Her deep experience has been enhanced through finance roles (including CFO roles since 2015) dealing with the diverse requirements of companies across multiple industries and across several stages of development. This experience followed roles as senior accountant and manager in two different banks.
On point to Resilient Phoenix Homes, her finance career has included time in real estate operations in both capital raising for real estate development and operational property management stages, and also time in banks working on behalf of banks in real estate lending.
These experiences with the financial analysis of real estate transactions on behalf of investors and lenders have included a real estate development firm engaged in affordable housing development and, conversely, analyzing real estate transactions for both consumer and business lending to real estate clients on behalf of two banks.
Rachna’s primary responsibilities include:
- Coordinating external professionals providing audited financials and reports.
- Leading in the process of securing debt financing and lines of credit to expand our ability to scale.
- Leading in the process as we grow and scale of periodically refinancing with packaged mortgages and more favorable financing terms.
- Supporting in the completion of preparations for the due diligence process with potential institutional investors, to further support our process of scaling on behalf of our earlier, private and angel investors.
- Supporting in the completion of negotiations and transactions with banks for bulk REO purchases.
- Supporting the CEO in providing regular updates and communications to existing investors.
